The little squirrel behind the curtain
So, that's it. I have completed my 50-piece 'Anicurio™ Collection. It took several years, and I decided to cap it at 50. The reason is that I now want to concentrate on the accompanying book. It will contain all the images and their stories. Who they are, when they were, and what they did. It will be a magical, lovely book if it turns out as I hope. I will give it my complete best. You know that. Look for it in the 1st qtr of 2025. Sign up for my email if you want to know when it's available.
The final piece in the series had to be something special, really. I decided to reveal the little fellow behind the curtain. The one who photographed all these curious characters. And here he is. Timothy Tuttle, the photographer. Actually, on a side note, an easter egg sort of thing. If you look at 'Portly Rabbit,' you'll notice he's in the same photography studio. Same carpet (different angle). You will also notice that the scene behind the rabbit is a photographer's backdrop.
Here is that link: Portly Rabbit
Where to now? Onward and forward. I still have many more ideas. Such fun projects are ahead. They will remain on the same theme of pencil art and anthropomorphism. But different approaches. Different genres and some exciting ideas if I can pull it off....let's see.
Btw All prints from the 'Anicurio™ Collection' will remain available. The originals are selling rather fast, though.
