Commissions

For enquiries about commission work, please read the following:

Because there are a lot of variable factors, it's hard to give a firm price without knowing all the info. 

There is also the concideration of resaleability. What I mean by that is, that when I create a new piece, I not only sell the original, but I'm able to re sell the image many times over on prints and postcards. But with a commissioned piece, traditionally, it's just the one sale (the original). So this means that I have to be very selective in accepting commissions. 

if I see there is a possibility to include it amoung my 'Anicurio Collection', then I will accept the commission. With the understanding that I (The artist) retain all rights to reproducing the image. (This is actually standard among most artist contracts).

So here is the basic price:

I will provide to the customer - Original pencil artwork on paper. Approx. size: 11" 16" ( unframed. No mat ) + shipping -$30.00

$700.00 + I (the artist) retain all rights to re print the image for all commercial purposes, exclusively. 

Terms: I work with the client to compose the best possible image. I provide a Photoshop mock up before starting. Customer can make one round of small changes.

All composition and other artistic choices of the piece are to be made by myself (the artist) only.

I am only offering this service for commissions for animals, and only in the 'anicurio' Victorian photo style.

50% payable prior to  commensement. 50% upon completion, prior to shipping.

Please forgive all the legal stuff. I have to use it, but I am a very friendly person and the process is very easy.
