Often, I seem to find reflection and un-fulfillment a deep well for me to draw from.
That's what this piece references. At least at the time I painted it. Regret and the feeling that it all should have and could have turned out better.
I wanted the sky to have a lot of movement. To be troubled and unsettling. You can just about make out a 'kiln' too. These were huge ugly chimney stacks the size of two story houses that populated my home town of Stoke-on-Trent, UK when I was growing up.
